Really interesting flavors in a soundscapes of this album. An album that doesn't wear out by listening. You always find interesting new details in a rich texture of instruments. I have never been a big fan of sax but this album may change my opinions. Really surprising mix of traditional blue grass instruments but yet really exotic atmospheres. Definitely worth of listening. The title doesn’t lie; the latest from Christian Fitness puts slap bass at the center of their gnarled, punky songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2017

Featured this album on the thirtieth issue of RULE of THREE (bit.ly/RULEofTHREEbc). Dead Man ironically features a calm but steady heart-beat throughout the track soon accompanied by a powerful bass line with some nice chord changes. The heavily distorted but pleasing guitar creates some drama and paves the way for the slightly distant vocals that definitely have a sing-along effect. Dead man is very much alive. Christian Schaefer
